The weather’s been very obliging this weekend. First barbecue of the year attended yesterday, load of washing out on the whirly today, and a very happy garden doing its thing.
The foxgloves and delphiniums are dying back a little more, and now it seems to be the age of the poppy.
The hoverflies seem to really like them
Their seed heads are very pretty too, but probably a bit too small for drying
And as for the strawberries, the Elsanta and Albion varieties don’t seem to have done so well in our garden
But these little superstars, Temptation, look very promising. I have great hopes for them…
