Hi, I’m Sakthi, and I enjoy discovering and sharing things from far away or right in my own back garden. I grew up in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, and after going to university in Aberdeen, Scotland, I ended up calling the Granite City home too.
I happily dabble in anything to do with making and crafting, but mainly identify as a knitter. There is quite a discrepancy between the number of started projects and finished items, which is the only downside of wanting to try everything; but I believe that some things are meant to be, and some things are meant to be remembered as lovely puffs of enthusiasm.
My husband and I have varied and shared interests – I knit and take photos, he keeps fish and plays video games, and together we read, garden, travel, and eat lots of food. Life is full of little adventures, and this blog started out as a diary of sorts: documenting experiences, places visited, things made, photographs taken; and along the way it’s also become a great way to interact and make connections with other people.
